CHARLOTTE

"CHARLOTTE" is a replica Luxemotor built to exhibition standard in 2005 by Delta Marine Services.

After cruising the Thames in 2005 she crossed the Channel in 2006, skippered by Stephan Fritz.   The passage from Teddington Lock to Calais was about 20 hours. After cruising in Belgium she went to France and has remained there for many years.

She has been meticulously maintained from new.  She is currently lying on a rural linear mooring in central France.

She was dry-docked at Champvert near Decize in October 2023.  There she had a full hull survey, new anodes and two-pack epoxy hull coating.  The TRIWV was renewed and is now valid until 01/09/2030

She was 'Boat of the Month' and fully reviewed here in the June 2005 issue of Canal & Riverboat.

The true quality of this vessel can be appreciated in that review, the description below and numerous photos in both galleries.
